What is TOFU?

Tofu, which is sometimes referred to as bean curd, is made by pressing the curds created by coagulating soy milk into the soft white blocks that you see in the grocery store. It has a high protein value given its relatively low caloric count and it is a great source of iron, calcium, and magnesium.
