I’m a wife, mom of four, pet hoarder, and I love to cook. I don’t have a degree in nutrition, and I am not an expert in any particular field, other than eating. I’m an expert eater. Food has been the thing I have gravitated towards my entire life. Ever since I can remember I have been in the kitchen cooking.
I am particularly passionate about sharing how beneficial and easy it can be to maintain a plant based diet. Follow me as I share recipes, ramble, and probably at some point make a fool of myself, all in the name of food.
And to answer the often asked question “what does 86 Eats mean?” My husband and I both worked in the restaurant business for years. To “86” something in the restaurant world means to remove it. Like if you ordered a sandwich, no cheese, you would “86” the cheese on the ticket. Our logo is 86ing the M in meat, leaving you with the word eat. So essentially our goal is to 86 all animal products from our recipes, and still leave you with delicious, satisfying food!
